The en-suite studios, usually used as twins, are sleek, hip and student focussed, as is the interior throughout the building.
The rooms have a full-size fridge freezer, electric hob, two wardrobes for clothes, ample storage space for cases, modern bunk-beds, two seat study area with large shelves above the desk for further storage and a wet room. Some of the larger rooms can be used as twins or quads.
The beds are larger than a standard single and are nothing like the typical bunkbeds you may find in a boarding school. They have comfortable mattresses, not too soft so no bad backs! The top bunk can be electronically raised to the ceiling when not in use and the bottom bunk can be converted into a large sofa (complete with large cushions) so the room takes on a completely different day time function.
The wet room has a toilet, wash-hand basin, large shower head and cupboard storage. The modern idea of a wet room is sometimes uncommon to our international guests and can seem almost space-age; so we provide instructions on how to operate the different functions in our handbooks so that guests get the most out of the available facilities. It is always important to keep bathroom kit in the cupboard - a wet room is exactly that!
