Student Welfare

Safeguarding our students is taken into consideration in every aspect of the programmes we run at TSA English, including the way we design and build our residential English schools to provide a secure and supportive environment for our students.

The best schools are regularly inspected by accrediting bodies. They check the quality of teaching, student care, administration and management, to make sure that you will learn English in a safe environment.

The safety and wellbeing of our students is our first priority.

  • Students are supervised all day, including mealtimes, to further encourage self-confidence in using English outside of the classroom.
  • We have a low staff to student ratio and carry out extensive risk assessment and health & safety checks on all of our activities and excursions.
  • We provide strong pastoral care for our students, with dedicated student welfare staff at each centre, ensuring that all students are properly looked after, are safe and are as happy

Accreditations and Student Welfare Policies

  • We are accredited for the teaching of English by the British Council, the Independent Schools Inspectorate and the Accreditation Service for International Colleges.
  • We are members of  English UK and, as part of our membership commitment, pursue excellence in all aspects of English language teaching and strive to create a welcoming environment for international students in the United Kingdom.
  • All of our policies are available for our sales partners, parents and students to read at anytime to ensure peace-of-mind that we do what we say we do. Student and group leader handbooks are distributed prior to arrival and we offer training to our sales partners on all of our internal policies around safeguarding.
